Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone; J. K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Philosophers StoneLike Abraham Lincoln, everyone knows the name “Harry Potter”. I’m sure we’ve all seen the movies and enjoy the world of Harry Potter, but the movies barely even open the door to his exciting world. Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (Sorcerers Stone in America) is the first book of Harry’s 7 years at Hogwarts. In his first adventure, he learns that he is a wizard, not a muggle and that he has the amazing chance of going to a magical school for the next 7 years. While there he faces many daily challenges from learning how to cope in a completely new environment, evil teachers, new friendships and new and old enemies. The book opens up a world that we all wish we could live in and if you like the movies I highly suggest reading the books to better understand and love the famous wizarding boy, Harry Potter.
